For astrologer, scholar and author Rick Levine, the cycles of the cosmos speak more deeply than the simple predictions made by many astrologers. He even goes so far as to say that predictions themselves help to manifest reality, which is not the purpose of astrology.
Rick is an active voice in the global Astrology community, giving professional talks and seminars around the world. He shares a special gift for bridging the gaps between Astrology and spirituality, science and religion, the head and the heart. In addition, Rick has a comprehensive understanding of the more hidden histories of Astrology from Kings and Queens to Freemasons to the Roman Catholic Church making his presentations and writing particularly rich.

Great interview with the, March 27, 2013
Great interview with the intelligent Rick Levine. I recommend highly his other video which goes deeper into Astrology, called "Quantum Astrology." It is a full presentation by him, not an interview.
I completely agree with Rick that we do have free will. It is a duality of fate and free will, karma and liberation. We are both a particle and a wave. So, if anyone tries to tell you who you are or what is going to happen to you, don't absorb that as reality. Don't let others collapse your wave into a hard particle of crystallized fate without your conscious free will and participation.
There are some things fated to us that we can't change, like death. We will die at some point. Knowing that, we can choose how to approach that. And, many other smaller, less obvious things are "fated" to each of us. We can approach them with awareness and co-create our reality, or we can fall blindly off the cliff. Rick talks about this and the three kinds of fate in this interview.

WE Are Responsible for Creating Our Own Reality, December 4, 2012
I love Rick's take on astrology. I receive his and Jeff Jawer's daily PERSONALIZED StarIQ aspects based on my PERSONAL astrological chart. While I agree that many astrologers have a bad habit of predicting events or predicting how our whole life in general WILL turn out, what I believe is that, in actuality, we DO have free will; that we, in effect, DO create our own reality. Therefore what I -- as an (evolutionary) astrologer myself -- tell my clients is that these are the transits, this is your natal chart, and these are the propensities, but YOU determine how things will work out. There are no guarantees. And I (again, as an astrologer) don't believe that we are fated to live out some destiny predetermined by the gods. So if you feel the need to consult an astrologer, use discretion in choosing that astrologer and remember that YOU are ultimately the final arbiter of how your life works out. Don't get me wrong: Rick is accurate with what he's saying. All I'm saying is to vet your astrologer. There are MILLIONS of astrologers out there, some phenomenal, some...not so much. Do your homework. Get testimonies from previous clients, if possible. And don't let ANYONE tell you exactly what is going to happen in your life. Only YOU can determine that. PS: most astrologers ARE phenomenally intelligent. And why wouldn't they be? The planet Uranus, which rules genius, also rules astrology. :-)

Fascinating!, July 27, 2012
I listen/watch Rick Levine (and Jeff Jawer) on stariq and daily horoscope every day and they are always so insightful. This is a really interesting overview of astrology and much more - wish it were longer or there were follow-up videos!
