Richard Hoagland, a former NASA consultant, speaks about a historic series of celestial events and their possible meaning in our understanding of 2012. On Sunday, May 20, 2012, a rare solar eclipse takes place, followed by a transit of Venus later in the year, and more.

In addition to his consulting work with NASA, Richard Hoagland is also a former space science museum curator, and during the historic Apollo Missions to the Moon, he was science advisor to Walter Cronkite and CBS News. He is the author of Dark Mission: The Secret History of NASA, the Monuments of Mars and The Cydonia Codex. In 1993, Hoagland was awarded the International Angstrom Medal for Excellence in Science by the Angstrom Foundation, in Stockholm, Sweden, for his research.

Most recently, Hoagland and his team have been investigating over 30 years of previously hidden data from NASA, Soviet and Pentagon missions to the moon. He was interviewed on May 16, 2012, by renowned author and filmmaker Jay Weidner, who is the Director of Original Programming for GaiamTV.com.

Richard Hoagland is a font of knowledge in so many areas, not the least of which is hyperdimensional physics. His article A Most Hyperdimensional Eclipse and Final Venus Transit on his website, Enterprise dot com, is exceptionally amazing. I've been following Richard for several years and love the way he -- as a scientist -- emphatically states that astrology is, indeed, a science based on hyperdimensional physics. His co-author on Dark Mission, Mike Bara, goes into a bit more detail in his book, The Choice, on how hyperdimensional physics explains why astrology works. The only thing I want to clarify is that there is not going to be another eclipse of the Sun on December 21 to my knowledge. There were only 4 eclipses this year: the New Moon Solar Eclipse on May 20th, which he referenced, a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse on June 4th, another New Moon Solar Eclipse on November 13th, and the last eclipse of the year, a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse on November 28th. The only thing I can determine based on his comment on an eclipse for December 21st, is that the Galactic Center -- which is located at 26 degrees Gemini -- will be conjunct or in the same sign as the transiting Sun on December 21st. Technically, that would be similar to an eclipse. But it couldn't actually be called a Solar eclipse. So, I'm at a loss as to what he's referencing. Correct me if I'm wrong (and I'm sure someone will, lol), but I'm not seeing this either in the almanacs or in my astrology software. Having practiced astrology for over 35 years and having worked with eclipses in client charts, I keep track of eclipses. So...maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see an eclipse of the Sun on December 21st...unless he's referring to something else?

So interesting - I hope there is a follow-up interview or more talks by Richard Hoagland and Jay Weidner. I'm familiar with Jay's work (which is the best) but Richard was new so this was really interesting....let's wait and see what the eclipses bring!

I wished they had broken the information down into a more simple language for better understanding. Watch this closely though, it's interesting.

I found the first thirty to forty minutes to be pretty dry, but hang in to the end, because it's worth it.
