A beautiful way to start my day. I feel more tuned into the essence of me, my spirit, my breath. Namaste Ryan.

Did this practice today and it actually helped with the months long writer's block I've been having. Seemed to clear my mind in a way that hasn't happened before. I really enjoyed this one and will be back tomorrow!

so nice. Unique flow, amazing teacher. .. and it began raining mid-practice. Thank you.

I just subscribed to My Yoga so that I could begin a daily practise...what a wonderful video to begin with. I can't do a back flip like Ryan's daughter can, or a handstand, and probably never will, but Ryan's modeling, specific intruction and humour made this accessible to me, a person over 65 who doesn't have a daily practise. Yet. I'm inspired to start...maybe I'll join Ryan and friends at his yoga retreat in Bali in January. What a wonderful way to begin my year.

Wow, this is so awesome. I appreciated the first time and soothing vocal guidance of Ryan Leier. Feeling discouraged by some physical weakness I was skeptical of a vinyasa class but this was great. It offered different levels of yang intensity. I felt refreshed by the simplicity and entirely relieved to feel so lead by my breath and not my thoughts. I love the subtlety. I love the bandha reminders. I love the humor. Thank you for sharing your teaching gift, Ryan. Namaste.

@montlake Glad you liked it!!! Peace!

I found this to be an odd practice: a combination of slow movements and handstands. I worked for me as an evening lunar practice, but I would have liked to see a bit more stretching at the end. Of course, I took the advice you gave in a previous lecture video of never sticking fully to what the teacher is doing and I added on my own. I really liked the bent leg version in the last handstand, I found it enabled me to balance for longer than usual.

kassi, posted on November 2, 2012

very nurturing, thank you.

dinoclaire, posted on November 2, 2012

I loved the poem at the end. where could I get that? I want to hang it on my wall. Beautiful, meditative practice that challenged and calmed mind, body, spirit.

Ryan,
Thank you for that fantastic flow, just what I needed! I really enjoyed the poetry at the end in Shavasana, and your humour throughout the practice is delightful. I look forward to practicing with you again.

Your guidance is wonderful...the constant reminders to engage my bandhas helped me fly into a sweet-feeling handystand! I can't wait to one day feel the feeling of floating into one like Ryan...must feel super yummy! I truly feel energized and relaxed. Thank you!

i consider myself to be at a moderate level in my practice, but was curious to see what an intermediate class was like. I must say, I am thoroughly pleased! While I can't get into handstand
(yet) and some other, more advanced inversions, it was still lovely to see where they would be placed within the foundations you learn as a beginner. Thank you.
