Powerful Men (2007)

Aces Youth Soccer Academy (AYSA) is the football school founded by Swiss trainer Marc Duvillard in Harare, Zimbabwe. Powerful Men closely follows the teenagers in their daily life (school, training, matches and family life), depicting their dream of becoming international football stars, following in the footsteps of the idols they watch on TV and whose photographs decorate their walls, schoolbooks and dreams. But the documentary is not only about football and dreams; it tells us what it means to grow up in Africa nowadays.
