Love this practice. Have always believed in the power of the breath, yet this practice brought me to a new depth with in myself. Feeling very blessed to have discovered Ryan, he's quickly become one of my favorites. Thank you!!

Ryan. This is a great class. I have gone back to it a number of times now and have gained so much from the practice. Thank you! Also, your lectures are great too. They help add depth to what yoga is about. I feel like I am learning so many valuable lessons :)

Ryan, your classes are such a gift! I love the use of music, in particular Fleet Foxes. I know for some music is a distraction but for my noisy mind it's a tool of focus that guides me back to my breath. I also appreciate your yoga for kids. I'm a teacher lucky enough to be at a school that is beginning to use mindfulness practices during the school day and there are some great tools for creating space for learning and creativity in your work.

I loved this class. I usually avoid classes that are filmed live on festivals because of too much explanation and too many breaks but this was absolutely delicious. This goes to my favorites :)Thank you Ryan Namaste

Ryan! I've done this class a few times now and I agree with @carlamenendez ... volume can be a bit quiet. But I plug my laptop into speakers... and then do it out doors at full volume :) YAY! Would love another intermediate class this length from you on here. Thank you so much. Namaste x

carlamenendez, posted on May 30, 2013

very cool class, but the volume needs to be turned up!!!

Hey Ryan,

Thanks again for the beautiful teachings you offer and for making them available to us!

May I ask what music you used at 53 mins?

Peace!

yoginiontherun, posted on December 5, 2012

Thank you Ryan! Felt like I was practising with y'all. Loved the rhythm, your words and of opportunity to play with handstand!

montlake, posted on December 3, 2012

A sweet class. Challenging at times. I liked how you gave options for more difficult poses. Holding was longer than I am used to--especially sholder stand! Thanks!

ryanleier, posted on November 30, 2012

@tfriesen see you very soon!!! @metasequoia Iyengar says (about long holds), "I used to play. Now I stay!" I just saw him stay in Kapotasana on a chair for 45 mins at 95 years old! @skodimer Stoked you liked the practice! OM

skodimer, posted on November 30, 2012

My favorite type of practice. Lighthearted, open, honest and natural. I look forward to hours spent like this.

metasequoia, posted on November 30, 2012

I practiced.. couldn't finish savasana though... I was working at DO. :P

Holding poses long. Not too difficult poses.

it really felt like one yoga. usually i like to go with the breath that arises for me, even if its different than the class. but in this case, counting the breath was effective, moving with others as one, and clearing lots of space! thanks, namaste

lett1ngg0n0w, posted on November 18, 2012

I really loved this class. The timing was spot on and it was challenging. The soundtrack was also awesome. My only issue was with the beginning poses on the feet and shins. They are soooo painful on my feet and shins. Do you have any suggestions?

Mia Polyviou, posted on November 16, 2012

@ryanleier I wish. Jan too soon. Will watch out for more of your classes. Namaste.

Looks and sounds like a new wave of power yoga teachers ... the drill sergeants all left to lead boot camp.
Class looks a little too tough for me (not-good knees); watching it for inspiration.- and to know that there's hope for the world ...

lilliput, posted on November 16, 2012

Loved it. Thank you so very, very much for sharing this beautiful practice. It was liberating and empowering for me today. Namaste.

love - excellent direction on breath and bandhas. More studio classes with Ryan please. (Had some problems with audio - beginning and end of class difficult to hear even when maxed out in volume.)
