Too much time on your computer or cell phone? If your shoulders seem to permanently reside up near your ears, you need to try this short practice with Marla Waal. Rediscover the natural state of flow and ease in an area not designed to carry our burdens. You will need 2 balls that are soft enough to roll on comfortably.

Contraindications: You can place cushions under your heels in squat pose if you experience any discomfort, as Marla indicates.

This felt really good. I loved the ball work on the back. Great release :)

Did this with only one ball for the under arms portion and still did the rest without the 2 balls. Still very nice! But I will look for some of these balls for next time. Thank you.

@marikalemay Dollar store has some. Any children's store. I used yoga therapy balls -- they're harder at first (not quite as hard as tennis balls), but after they've been used a bit, they soften up and they worked nicely for this.

Do you know where I can order these balls??? Thank you!

Thank you Maria! Just what the doctor ordered, this is the most relief I've been able to achieve for my shoulder and neck without going for a treatment :)

This is awesome! I have multiple serious shoulder issues arising from scoliosis and repetitive stress injuries related to playing the flute. This felt great.

This was the best 25 minutes of my life! I've been carrying a lot of tension in my shoulders (from stress) and this really helped to relieve the majority of it. Wow I feel great! I'm so glad Marla is back! She's one of the best teachers I've experienced on MYO.

Great for stress relief! Use tennis balls to release more pressure.

I need to find two squishy balls, but I rolled up
A pair of socks which worked ok as a substitute.
Thank you this will be good for me.
