Georgia and Geshe Sopa discuss the Dalai Lamas' history, the process of finding each successive Dalai Lama, what being a Dalai Lama means, and the present Dalai Lama. Sopa explains the studying and testing that Tibetan Monks must complete.

Geshe Sopa was asked to come to the United States to share Buddhist teachings. He arrived in New Jersey and later taught at the University of Wisconsin. They discuss the Buddha's teachings about ridding oneself of ignorance, hatred, and attachments using the concepts of universal love, compassion, and wisdom.
