Leonid Sharashkin on The Art of Soaring (May 2010)

Translator Leonid Sharashkin discusses, with outrageous humor and imagination, the art of changing your reality by changing your inner world. Sharashkin describes techniques and shares examples of how people have put the power of imagination back into their lives to create permanent solutions to problems. The key to all of this is fun and laughter, something that is easy to forget sometimes.

Leonid Sharashkin came into contact with a book titled, The Art of Soaring, at a time when he needed some serious emotional adjustment. He found the work to be profound and chose to bring the book to the English-speaking world, just as he did with, Anastasia.

This is awesome...and true..., September 30, 2012

This explains why every time I go to the mailbox looking for a check, it is never there. At first, I just thought my employer didn't want to pay me...but then, I donned spelunking gear and actually went on an exploration of my mailbox, and much to my surprise found a cave that led hundreds of miles into the earth. There I met little beings with glowing eyes that loved the taste of paper, and they were eating my checks. They were so cute..they all had little Buddha bellies and seemed content to have so much fiber content...so..I guess it's okay...oh, and I also found all those missing socks from my laundry...those little guys get cold noses during the Winter, so they snitch a sock..but only one of course! Delightful.

This makes so much sense! We, July 9, 2012

This makes so much sense! We are so subjected, especially in the U.S., to the seriousness of things, that we do forget the magic of our imaginations. Maybe that magic is why I love children's books! Maybe we could imagine away war...
