Beyond Belief: John Hogue on Nostradamus, 2012 and the End of Times (December 2012)

Does the end of the Mayan calendar really mean the end of days? Author John Hogue, considered the world’s authority on Nostradamus, shared his thoughts on the subject with George Noory in an interview originally Webcast on December 21, 2012.

Defining himself as a “Rogue” Scholar, John Hogue has traveled three times around the world studying meditation disciplines, reporting on new religious movements and compiling a reference of the world’s new millennium prophecies. Considered the world authority on Nostradamus and other prophetic traditions, Hogue is critically acclaimed for his ability to cut through the social, religious and nationalistic projections of prophets to find the threads of insight they all share.

This is the first Beyond Belief episode that I've watched so far, so I've got nothing to compare this to. Overall, I found the episode engaging. I particularly liked that George fielded questions throughout the show. I felt like we got a little deeper into some of Hogues thoughts than even on radio shows.

I do think the set needs a little work. For example, the desk clashes with the brick background. It is also kind of long for just an interview. I wonder if there could be other kinds of segments included.
