It’s estimated that nearly 40 percent of Americans are currently searching for their purpose in life and unsatisfied in their career choice. Regardless of age or education, many find themselves stuck in jobs or situations that leave them feeling uninspired, unmotivated or empty. The good news is that it’s never too late to really live a life overflowing with passion and purpose.
Jean Houston, Ph.D., is a philosopher, social activist, author of more than 26 books on human potential, and consultant to individuals, businesses and leaders around the world. She is one of the most respected teachers in human development and shared tools to help you step outside of the daily grind, so you can stop living solely to survive, but thrive with peace, passion and purpose.
In a remarkable, heart-opening conversation with Lisa Garr that was webcast live on May 2, 2012, Jean Houston, who combines research in human capacities with a rare perspective of myth, history, individual potential, spirituality and social transformation, shared her inspirational insights into the creativity and vision required for a revolutionary Renaissance of the human spirit.

In the Spirit of Oneness, September 7, 2012
As always, I witness... and note whatever feelings arise within my Being which offer insight to more of my inner-workings- that ultimately reveal my connection to God. I sense His interplay with these two sisters: Lisa and Jean- two souls playing-out their designed roles. There is wonderful humor, enthusiasm/passion and (especially) Deference... in this (perhaps) antiquated 3-D ‘script’ unwittingly posing as ‘respect.’ [Forgive me, for it is not my intent to belittle or criticize but to be honest with what God sent my way] Indeed, as Jean offers, these are unprecedented times of awakening! And two exhausted souls in amnesia playing lessor/greater roles versus the equality Oneness honors perhaps requires honesty from those now able to sense this stasis. We need each other to awaken from our illusory roles of “knowing” and being revered as elders, teachers, sages, etc.; their service is complete.
In our (egoic) traditions of respect, paying homage to age, accomplishments, wealth, power, status, etc, though ‘positive’ on some levels, continue in higher doses to deliver (dangerous) forms of Divisiveness. As souls truly awakening... we must step out of these rudimentary roles/perceptions of inequality to rediscover our mutual-‘ness’, for I suspect Love’s realms have nothing to do with hierarchies.
Elevating a fellow-prisoner on this planet is to inflate the ego-persona role they dramatize. Recognizing the achievements, skills, efforts -flowing through them- is to sense God-Source’s presence, and helps to free the soul from its egoic-slumber... that believes IT wrote the 20-something books on wisdom and knowing. This paradigm shift is the real deal, and so is the call to unplug from these subtle, illusory roles of divisiveness- better known as Separation.
