This practice with Giselle Mari has the power to instigate healing, ignite your inner light, and change your perception to make way for discovering your true nature.

The chakras are portals through which we perceive reality. Utilizing mantra, asana, and high intention, we’ll explore the attributes of each of these seven colorful energetic wheels from the root to the crown. By energetically inhabiting each of these centers, we’re able to address our karmas (past actions) and hone in on possible root causes of our emotional, mental, and physical challenges. *All Levels, some yoga experience optimal

Contraindications: Pregnant women should not do twists. People with eye conditions, glaucoma, high blood pressure should not do inversions. Women who are menstruating are not recommended to do inversions.

@BlissBabe. Thank you Blissbabe - I just wrote out a response but for some reason I didn't see it come through- so here I go again. So grateful for your kind feedback and I'm glad you got so much from the practice. If you have some ideas on how to ground after this practice, I would welcome your thoughts as this is such a great forum to share ideas. Once I am done with the savasana piece and we move into the quiet time, I will set the intention of grounding for each chakra given that I'm lying down. I "liken" it to grounding electricity. Many thanks and Hari om, Giselle

@BlissBabe. Hi Blissbabe - thank you so much for your kind feedback. I very much appreciate it. I will usually set the intention of grounding once I've gone through each chakra during savasana and I'm in that quiet time. If you have a technique you'd like to share, I'd love to hear from you. Forums like these are so amazing to share ideas. Many thanks! Keep your eyes peeled as I will have more class content online soon. :-) With gratitude, Giselle

Very powerful practice- one must be ready and take this seriously as playing with the chakras, even when the intention is to heal, is still very serious and powerful energy to work with. I had a much needed emotional release and I find that chanting the bija mantras along with the teacher helped take the vibration from the chakra and throughout my entire body. I think that it's important to end with some sort of grounding technique because this practice will leave you will the crown chakra blown wide open- just a friendly suggestion. I love the talk and practice and will do it again! Namaste~

Holy Moly. I did some deep emotional processing while doing this class, and I did my deepest back bends ever because Giselle's meditations put me so deeply inward. Thanks so much Giselle.
