Profiles in Caring: Global Deaf Connection: Uganda (2009)

This episode of Profiles in Caring revisits an organization first highlighted three years earlier – but this time in a different country. When Profiles in Caring first profiled Global Deaf Connection, it concerned their monumental task in Kenya, to get deaf Kenyans teaching all deaf students in that country. Now, we look at their success in Kenya and tell you about their efforts in Uganda. The Ugandan government heard about their efforts and begged them to do the same for Uganda's deaf population.
