The Forgotten Bomb (2010)

The United States and Russia have thousands of nuclear weapons, on high alert, ready to destroy each other and the planet. We need to learn how to alter the soul of a nation in order to disarm the nuclear powers. What can the bomber learn from the bombed so that the world can finally live without the threat of total destruction?

Bud Ryan travels around the world exploring the Peace Museums of Hiroshima and Nagasaki as well as the Nuclear Science Museums in the United States. He takes us to his birth place, New Mexico, where the first nuclear bomb was build. His journey explores preconceptions of nuclear weapons and how they form our sense of identity.
