Kevan Gale's Fluid Hips is a 60-minute vinyasa flow class for yoga practicioners who are comfortable with hip opening poses like the pigeon and agnistambhasana (firelog pose) and are interested in moving towards yogadandasana (foot in armpit) and eka pada sirsansana (foot behind head). Fluid hips builds up to the arm balance pose parivrtta urdhva yogadandasana (foot in armpit balance). This fluid class is a challenging yet attainable way to deepen your hips and advance your practice.

This is an intermediate class with more advanced options and variations.

Featuring Music by Zamir, the Human Experience and Joss Jaffe.

I loved this class. Very calm yet challenging; and it didn't hurt my lower back like some other practices. Thanks a lot.

this class was..as it was said - intermediate with advanced options :D I like middle-pace of it, but I´d incorporate some wrist releasing asanas, especially after couple of arm balances..Btw your flexibility is worth admiring!

This was a truly spectacular practice! The flow of breath felt so natural and it allowed me to focus my mind on proper alignment and get deep into my hips. Truly a moving meditation. Thank you so much, Kevan!

Fluid Hips is AWESOME! This one is definitely going on my favorites list and I will work it until the challenges are as easy for me as they look in the video. Leg behind the head? I'll get there!

I love the versions you add! they bring so much variety and sight for the future, when I become more agile. Thank you!

@macdoka Thanks so much and I'm happy you enjoyed the sequencing.

Even though I am some distance from achieving Yogadandasana, this routine was intelligently sequenced. It is physically challenging, but the pacing allows the practitioner the opportunity to recenter. Kevan Gale has a beautiful and inspiring practice. This is a sequence I would like to return to.
