The Gurus Explore: Canada 2 (2008)

The Gurus have come to Canada to take in its many natural splendors and spectacular culture. There is much to see and do in Montreal, Manitoba and Vancouver. First up, in Montreal is the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in its 28th year, half the shows are in English and French. While there, we tour the city by walking, bike, and horse carriage. Moving further north, there is a lot going on in Chruchill, Manitoba.

The Gurus trek through the tundra to see polar bears with the Tundra Buggy Adventures. Then they meet the Blackfoot people at the Blackfoot Historical Park and Museum to gain an insight to their history and way of life, before European settlers. Next, is a visit to Dinosaur Provincial Park which is just a couple of hours outside of Drumheller, Alberta. It is also called the Badlands and offers a diverse range of fossils. Royal Tyrrell Museum is the only museum in the world dedicated to paleontology. Other stops include tasting water buffalo cheese at Fairburn Farm and high tea at the Fairmont Empress Hotel.
