Life after death was never a concern for Dr. Andre Luiz. That is, until he wakes up feeling lost and confused in a darkened wasteland. Loved the plot of this film, although everyones visions of the spirit world is a bit different, I felt this film gave such an excellent portal and at some points of the film, brought some tears to my eyes.

As with others, I also will not be subscribing after my trial is complete due to the fact that the majority of videos I want to watch are unavailable in the UK. I understand that your licensing doesn't permit you to broadcast worldwide but why even display the thumbnails for videos that we aren't allowed to watch? Make it so we can only see the videos that we are able to watch. You are loosing customers because they are becoming frustrated after reading the description of a video and deciding to watch it and then finding out they cannot. It's annoying.

Other than that I like the website and the few videos I was able to watch (David Wilcock's Wisdom Teachings, in particular) were excellent, good luck.

Astral City: A Spiritual Journey, the movie, made as much of an impact on me as the book The Celestine Prophecy did when I read it years ago. Renato Prieto as Dr. Andre Luiz gives a very effective and believable performance. I won't give any spoilers here, except to say that there were many scenes that moved me to tears of joy, as well as sadness. I'm not familiar with Chico Xavier's work, so the ending came as a bit of a surprise to me too and was not what I expected. Don't let the subtitles put you off. This is a very powerful movie and the musical score is superb. This is the first movie I watched as a new member of GaiamTV and it comes at a very difficult time in my life when I needed a message of hope and reaffirmation of my purpose for being here. As a Reiki practitioner, I am so pleased to see a portrayal of hands-on energy healing in a movie. Those scenes offer one possible explanation why some people come back from near-death experiences with extraordinary healing abilities. Just an excellent, excellent movie. Thank you, GaiamTV!

So very interesting to see entities in the after life using what it appears to be Reiki, healing touch or energy healing. It makes so much sense....that after life makes so much sense.....it's all about healing the body and the spirit and then coming back for more learning and growing. This is a wonderful film based on the work done in Brazil by the medium Francisco (Chico) Xavier. I'm familiar with his work that has been proved to be pure and true throughout the years. It is worthy to see the film and learn more about the after life regardless of religions, geography, etc.
