Yoga for Back Pain - Back Care Solutions

4.455695

A strong, healthy back is essential to you well-being and vitality. Through our often sedentary day-to-day activities – sitting at a computer, driving to/from work, relaxing on the couch – we weaken our otherwise healthy backs and develop poor posture and back pain. Yoga for Back Care was designed to strengthen your back and use yoga for back pain. Through a series of stretches and postures, internationally acclaimed yoga instructor Rodney Yee teaches you to develop a stronger, healthier back - free of back pain. As you progress through the yoga workout, you’ll move from sitting to standing to floor exercises. Together, these exercises will help lengthen and loosen your spine for greater agility and flexibility.

Are the different segments ment to be done together or separately?

GaiamTV, posted on May 18, 2014

The first three segments can be practiced either as a fuller one-hour practice or on their own. Each segment focuses on a different set of poses to addressing different aspects of back health.
Thank you, The Gaiam TV Team

I've been suffering from thoracic spinal arthritis for 6 months :(. This video was great!! I was able to stretch the muscles that have been problematic. I plan on starting every morning with this workout!!

I have been doing yoga for years, trying different videos. I always return to Rodney Yee, & now Colleen Saidman!

I bought the video Strong Core and Back Workout Video and ball. It says on the cover of the DVD that there is a downloadable video for back pain relief. I followed the directions but have not found any downloadable videos on this subject or any subject. I have a very bad back and the video I bought is mostly to hard for me but I was counting on the other video you advertised on the cover. I am very disappointed that I can't find it and feel as if I have been taken advantage of by being promised something that does not excist but takes me thru all of your web sights in an effort to get me to buy more things. Please show me I am wrong by sending me the downloadable video.

I've done this sequence twice - both times after coming home from a long day of work when my back hurt to stand, sit, and bend over. Both times I felt immediate relief. I will continue to use this to help relieve the tension and release the pain. Highly recommended.

This was lovely with very good stretches. The only thing was that it ended abruptly. I thought something was wrong with the streaming. So for me it ended in a not so relaxing way.

I agree with Rodney about his advice on how to sit! Such simple yet profound observations and methods that are current and immediately applicable! thanks!

This workout was perfect for me as I am very new to Yoga, actually I don't really like yoga, but know as I get older my body really needs it. This workout felt wonderful. I did a combo of this one and the posture segment.
