I really enjoyed the Hot Mess workout. I like Sarah's approach to yoga. As a beginner, Ifind that many other instructors are intimidating. Not everyone is looking to it as a lifestyle. I enjoyed it as a form of exercise and found that of all her programs, the Hot Mess routine was the most challenging.

I thought I was a beginner, but quickly realized I'm not that much of beginner. It is very slow paced. I didn't break a sweat and my breathing was slow and normal; for something called cardio commintment it was too slow paced. Namaste does not mean "thank you for playing along." It means "I bow to you." If you just want an easy yoga session fitness only this is fine, but if you to start really practicing find something else. Rodney Yee is a good teacher.

I'm coming back to yoga after a hiatus (a long one). I really did not enjoy this one at all. The progression of "do this... and then do this..." was so slow that it interrupted the flow and left me stuck in parts of it waiting for the next part (which I already knew, since it's a simple sun salutation). What I love about Gaiam DVDs is the element of spirituality (it is not overt, but makes my practice feel somewhat sacred, which is important to me) - this was absolutely stripped of that. What she says about "namaste" at the end of it basically offended me. Going back to Rodney Yee.

I have been doing two of these programs per day for the last week and a half and I feel amazing. Hot Mess and Cardio Commitment are invigorating. After each Yoga practice I feel a boost in energy. I have been also following the tips and tricks. Giving thanks for food is something I haven't done in a long time. Sara Ivanhoe is my favourite Yogis. I hope there are more videos to follow. Namaste. :)

I enjoy this routine, good mostly for beginners. The word Namaste doesn't mean thank you for playing along, if somebody is going to use the word namaste better recognize the real meaning of the word " the divine in me acknowledge the divine in you" if we are going to corrupt the word because of fear what Christians will think, then it is not real yoga, just fitness.

I agree that Sara's newfound definition of namaste is a tad eye-roll-worthy. I've been using her routines for years and she's usually so good about instructing the fundamentals.Oh well.. she's still a great instructor. I just did the 'Clean Slate Cleanse' tonight and and feel great.

I was really happy and quite surprised to log into GaiamTV tonight and to find five new Sara Ivanhoe yoga routines. She's my favorite. I used the "disco nap" routine tonight because I wanted something to send me off to bed. I'm looking forward to trying the other sequences, and I hope this is the beginning of more "GaiamTV Originals" with Sara!

Thank you Sara! I just did the first class at GAIAM and it was wonderful! Thanks also for thinking of people like me that live outside USA, and give us the opportunity to continue follow you because we need the guide of your detailed knowledge of yoga and its philosophy. It is difficult to get your stuff outside USA. I bought almost all your DVD's by Amazon and recently TASTE by ordinary mail which took 45 days to arrive! For this reason, I find it invaluable to be able to have a class every day, as if I were in Santa Monica, but in the comfort of my home and only to switch on my lap. In addition to everything, your classes of GAIAM arrive at the perfect time because I recently started THE PLAN (diet), and your “Weight Loss Resolution System” will be my perfect complement! I have been following you for about eight years during which you made me lose the fear of yoga and its complicated poses, because of you I do feel yoga “EASY AND FUN”! Thanks a lot! Namaste.
