The R.I.P. Files features a different kind of group of paranormal investigators, based in Washington DC, who use their psychic abilities and their deep knowledge of metaphysical techniques to interact with the entities they encounter at haunted locations. The group calls itself Research and Investigation of the Paranormal (R.I.P.).
These investigators encourage the spirits to share their stories in their own words through amazing EVPs and other evidence that is bridging the gap between the worlds of science and spirituality. Not just another ghost show, The R.I.P. Files explores the issues of life and death that we all must face.
As the investigators learn and grow in their profession, making new discoveries that push the boundaries of paranormal research even further, they also find themselves compelled to examine the effects of their activities on their own lives, on the lives of those around them, and on the spirits themselves.

RIP files hits the paranormal mark. 5/5 stars, January 9, 2013
Hello. I am quite familiar with methods used to do a paranormal investigations. I have a team called Vparanormal (Vparanormal.com). The RIP files is a unique show, I feel quite different than what is out there. It has a slower pace (no hyped out celebrities) and they present real evidence and because they are using metaphysical techniques to interact with the entities, they seem to get very compelling EVP's that are time/place/question specific. Watch all six episodes, you won't be disappointed, in fact, you will be coming back for season 2!.

Incredibly Different and Fantastically Scary!, November 26, 2012
The R.I.P. files is different from any other "ghost hunting" show I have every seen. Most programs are walking around buildings saying, "Did you hear that?" with no evidence but their word when the R.I.P. files allows me to witness the phenomenon they are experiencing. The vast and unique perspective each investigator brings to the show also keeps me intrigued. From communicating with spirits through motion of objects to getting actual recordings of the spirits' voices blows me away. The R.I.P. files is, by far, the best paranormal investigation show I have ever experienced and overall one of my favorite shows to watch.
