That was great!!! A good workout, but not too intense. I practice yoga daily, and for the last year I have only practiced yoga, and it's nice to see that I have maintained my level of fitness. I'll have to see how my body feels in the morning when I do my yoga, but this might become a nice addition to my daily practice.

I only did episode 1 for week 1 and I'm dripping from sweat. Each exercise is only for 30 seconds. Some jumping so anyone with knee problems be aware. But she always shows the beginner and Advanced versions as well. Only small weights for the first episode. Haven't gotten to the others yet. Aug. 26, 2014
You can order her cd's at Amazon as well for those in other countries. I ordered them than discovered this while waiting to receive them so I get to do many others as well.

Oh dear.. i am so sad that my favourite trainer is not available in my country! I was dying to trainer with Jillian :(
I hope someday Gaiam TV could buy the rights to play in all regions! We all deserve our "last chance workout!" :D

On a business trip and the fitness center is pretty sad! So, I just did week 1 routine and feel so strong and ready to face the day! Thank you Jillian! At home I have the 30 day shred and the Shed and Shred, but didn't have a computer or DVD player in the room, so with my little old iPad, can do these routines while I am here. Don't have my weights, but used the water bottles in the room. Not much weight but I guess a little resistance is better than none! See you tomorrow!

I like the cool down part of the workout.
At that point I know I was able to break through Limiting thinking of I'm getting tired.
I am getting stronger and healthier in every way.

Oh man I love these, they really make you sweat and I am always sore the next day. I have done week 1 4 or 5 times because I only think I'm ready to move on to week 2 now! I do it about once a week along with running, biking and yoga but it's a good work out to make me feel like I actually have worked out the entire time, in a short time. If you only have 30 mins and want to make the most of it, I recommend this.

I LOVE these workouts... but if you are a out-of-shape person who needs to lose 25 lbs, like I was 4 months ago, you probably will NOT be able to do these every day. I sure couldn't! Even alternating I had to take some pain relief for the fist couple of weeks!! And you certainly won't be 'ripped' in 30 days. I did week 1 three times a week for a month.... and I saw results, but I sure wasn't ripped. But I expected that, so I did week 2 for another month. By the end of two months, I was down a pant size and starting to see some significant changes. For month 3, I added in cross-training at the gym 2 days a week, and did week 3 three times a week. I'm now in month 4... and I'm finally starting to feel ripped :-D. I lost 25 lbs, and gained a TON of muscles. After the weight-loss plateaued for about 3 weeks, I've started losing again (10 lbs to go!). So do this series, but take it easy at the start, and don't expect miracles. It takes 3 months to substantially re-define your body.

I was really scared to try this workout series. Needless to say, I am glad I did. I received a good workout without having to go through super complicated moves. I have tried other workouts like the FIRM series. I have never been able to make it through a whole FIRM video workout because they are too long. Also, I am all about incrementalism. This is just the right length and intensity. Jillian eases you into the moves which is great. She also gets you to really work up a sweat. I am using this series with in tandem with low impact cardio series like WATP to get myself moving and my energy up. This a great substitute to a cup of coffee in the morning.

I am confused about the sequence of these excercises. It says episode 1 week 1, episode 1 week 2, episode 1 week 2 and episode 1 week 4. Should there be several more episodes for each week. I dont see those anywhere here

Thanks for your feedback. There are only the four workouts you see here for Ripped in 30. (30 refers to 30 days in a month, so it's a four-week program to get in shape.) I'll admit it... I'm not a huge Jillian fan. HOWEVER, I did really like this workout and plan to do the entire 4 weeks. I need someone to motivate me, tell me like it is, and not be so "fluffy." Jillian of course, is not fluffy. Haha She actually kinda scares me... I like it! ;)

Wondering if anyone has recommendations for which type of sneaker is best for this style workout. I am a Pilates girl, so I'm used to being barefoot. Do you think I can do this with bare feet?

I did week one and enjoyed the workout, but I probably won't continue because I feel that I'm damaging my joints. I've never had any issues with my knees, but the fast lunges with weights make it hard to have good form and I can feel my joints getting stressed.

This was so much fun. It's challenging, but not discouraging. There's a fine line between encouraging/tough and malicious, and Jillian is on the right side of that line.

Just finished day 4 of week one and judging by the wide variety of muscle soreness that I have I would say this is a pretty thorough workout. It's a circuit routine that takes you thru strength/cardio/abs and she varies things so it's not boring. You need light handweights and a mat. She has one person showing a modified version and one a hardcore version so it's suitable for all levels. She's obviously skilled at motivating people which is very helpful when you are sweating and sore. I recommend this, it's effective and varied. She says a few times that it's 20 minutes but I timed it today and it was 36 min. But still you cover a lot of ground in that time. I did look at her meal plan and unfortunately there is not a vegetarian version (and I was surprised that she recommended Pop Chips in her plan because they have MSG which is obviously bad for you. I will stick to her for workouts and stick to Dr. Joel Fuhrman (Eat to Live) for dietary advise.

This is my second week of the program and I must say even though I felt like I was not really working too much, I was sweating it out so bad! The second week builds on exercises from week one and she was not lying about the plank modifications for a second! Nothing has been repeated this week and it was a new challenge all together. I am very satisfied with this routine and I recommend it to anyone who has done week one and has not moved on, you will not regret it!

This is not your average Valley Girl workout! Jillian so badly kicked my ass and I loved every second of it! I am going to do all four weeks, but I am still on week one and all I can say is that this workout is a must for anyone looking to get fit or just wanting to try something new. She does exercises that have been around for a million years and amps it up, I say you give it a try!

This lady is the real deal. It's amazing to have a workout that is less than 30 minutes and shows results. If you follow the program and INVEST the time everyday (because you are worth it), you will see for yourself why she is Outstanding!

Wow! I just wanted to try it out because I have been wanting her videos for quite sometime now. All i can say is I Love Them! I am shaky and know I got a great workout in a very short time, Thank You Jillian for that! So tired of just doing weight days and cardio seperate or hurting my knees and wrists only doing squats and lifting a barbell with another workout I was doing. I will be continuing Week 1 all the way to Week 4 and I will let you know what my results are, Awesome!

So I just started Week 1 yesterday, super sore today! Wondering how many days a week this program is supposed to be done? There should be much more info in the description, especially since this isn't free. Is it supposed to be done every day, every other day, 5 days a week...? It would be silly to do these intense workouts every day with no rest & recover time, but if I'm wrong I'd like to know! Thanks for any info!

This was a most amazing week for me as I almost reached my total inches loss that I experienced in (Week 1).

I close this week with a total 7” loss; and if that is not impressive enough, how about the fact that I have successfully completed Jillian Michaels Ripped in 30 program with an overall (24) twenty-four – that’s right, 24” loss in 30 days! How thrilling is that! Hahaha

By-the-way…that one pound that I gained, I have lost. I look too cute - I wish that I could attach a pic.

I have done it – 30 days of intense training!


What is next? Incorporating each week’s training into one day of each week, giving me a total of four (4) workouts per week.

The most difficult task is behind me. That was surviving the first month of training. After that, it will be much easier for me to complete only four days opposed to five days a week of training.
