Great Beginning Ashtanga class, March 13, 2013
This video is a great place to start if you are interested in learning the primary series. I am not new to Ashtanga, but it has been years since I've practiced. I agree with some of the other reviews that it may not be the best video for someone who is new to yoga, but I think it's perfect for someone with a little background in yoga (or dance, sports, etc) who is new to Ashtanga.

Not really for beginners, May 3, 2012
Needs modifications for those of us not quite as flexible - especially with the reverse triangle. The pose guide that is a companion to the practice also does not include possible modifications.

Maybe I'm not enough of a yogi..., January 27, 2012
Instructor is wooden. Lots of chanting at the beginning...in sanskrit (mood setting?). And although she labels this as a beginning practice, there are no modifications given for the superior flexibility she demonstrates.
