Get ready to sweat!!, April 25, 2013
I'm not really new to yoga, but I've never used any sort of video to follow along with (usually use magazine articles and go at a slow pace). I bought one of Kathryn Budig's books and decided to try out a video. The "beginner practice" is face paced compared to other yoga. A lot of time is spent in downward dog which is a good workout for the arms. I could keep up with her but by the end I was sweaty. It's also a short flow which makes it easy for everyday use. I can't wait to advance to the other videos!

Sargent Kathryn , March 30, 2013
Great video for the experienced and hyperactive fitness guru. This is not real spiritual yoga, it is focused only on the fitness aspect of yoga, competitive and ambitious. I was expecting more calm mind body spirit yoga. Good for cardio, but your mind is too busy following the commands from Sargent Kathryn. She needs to soften up a little bit.

The instructor really needs to take a breath!, March 23, 2013
This is borderline advanced because you better be flexible and know your stuff before attempting the Vinyasa flow. Not only does the instructor not pause and take breath but she literally races through the poses. If you are new to Yoga, do not attempt. You will get disheartened. If you are intermediate, then prepare for the challenge. It is rewarding, but expect to not be able to keep up. It is okay....that's what practice is about.

GREAT Monday morning workout!, March 18, 2013
To reiterate what others have said, the beginner's practice is not for beginners. I've been doing yoga for 7 years now and sometimes it was a little fast for even me to keep up (this was mostly because I was in downward dog and couldn't see the screen!). But, it was a GREAT practice for a Monday morning after a month-long absence from doing yoga. Broke a sweat, and though I didn't burn as many calories as I'd have liked, I still think it was worth it.

Not for beginner, it´s too difficult, February 20, 2013
The beginners practise isn`t definitly not for beginners. It`s too fast and too difficult. For me it`s a beginner`s practise for advanced yogis ...

I've really enjoyed doing, February 13, 2013
I've really enjoyed doing this program. I've done it three times so far and really like it. I'm waiting to build up to the "Authentic Flow" which is much more demanding. "Beginner's Practice" is challenging yet calming and I love how Kathryn reminds us to not take ourselves too seriously. A gentle and much needed reminder.

Kathryn Budig, December 29, 2012
A yoga instructor who smiles and shines with happiness is enlightening. Doesnt yoga mean "to lighten up?" I love her positive energy. Thank you for aiming true with the intrinsic philosophy of joy, accepting the present circumstances as they appear but most importantly moving forward without fear.
5 star rating.

NOT THE VIDEO I KEEP REQUESTING (BEGINNER), November 26, 2012
Several times now I have requested the BEGINNER video and THIS one always comes up. I would like a better PLAY button, OR to have no-longer-available videos .. removed!?

not beginner, November 17, 2012
It looks like a lot of fun but it is definitely not for a beginner. It is more for an an advanced beginner.

Kathryn Budig....Abs Bonus, August 26, 2012
Love this routine. I can do just this one abs exercise and I feel that I have gotten a complete workout. I usually tack it on last to whatever yoga routine that I have done that day.

Feeling amazing!, July 17, 2012
I felt like this was the right amount of physical challenge mixed with beautiful intentions, instructions, and even humor. I'm feeling physically relaxed and mentally energized! My only complaint would be the lack of a guided savasana. Other than that, very happy with this sequence!

Never thought I could do it!, June 6, 2012
1st time ever doing this style of Yoga and i have just done the beginners and it was great! I have never sweated so much doing Yoga (I am a newbie to this) and I had a lot of fun and liked the way I was pushed to go that bit further. Loved it and really like the instructor-she gives good instruction and motivation.

bit too fast, May 21, 2012
Don't get me wrong, she is lively and energetic, but she makes it a bit difficult to keep up. maybe when I get super strong and much more flexible, the jumping to and from downward dog will make easier. As of now, I need to cool down my knees and back.
Still a great dvd and something different from the everyday vinyasa (I will still keep on trying to master her dvd)

Authentic Awesome!, May 15, 2012
Love this kind of vinyasa, quick and full of energy! Kathryn does it so gracefully and powerfully that it inspires me to push myself to the next level. Though it is definitely not for beginners. I had to stop and take a break and I'm in my early 20's and have played competitive sports for 15 years. If you're looking for a challenge, this one is great!

Felt great, though a little bit fast, April 8, 2012
I've only tried "Beginner Practice" so i can only attest to that, but I have to say that in many parts, it felt very rushed and a little too fast, especially when doing it the first time and not knowing all the moves she's going to do. Of corse, I'm sure if I keep doing this routine, I will probably be able to finally catch up with her. Overall, though, it was a great, invigorating practice, making me do some things I've never done before. I would recommend it, though procede with caution!

Loved it!, March 23, 2012
The intermediate workout is challenging, fun and calming all at once. There is a playfulness to this flow that was wonderful. I have some experience with these types of videos, so I was able to follow along well, but starting with the beginner workout should help those who are newer to these ideas. Fantastic.

Amazing for beginners and an early morning/quick workout!, January 21, 2012
I tried this video to get back into yoga after taking a few months off, and found it was a perfect transition workout. The 25 minute session is great for an early morning, kick-start to the day and includes poses that will help strengthen and stretch you would to get you back into shape for the longer 60-90 classes. Even my boyfriend likes doing this video with me.

AimTrue, December 30, 2011
I love this! I am "restarting" my yoga practice after being pregnant and this is amazing. I feel stretched, revived and most importantly...happy! A strong sense of reflection is touched in this and helps to reel yourself in, out of the rambling mind :]

Kathryn Budig, December 7, 2011
Awesome. I don't think it is that fast paced as the other commenters have said. This is an intermediate practice as stated so the yogi should be already familiar with the yoga practice. Believe me, this is a piece of cake if you have done any of her other practices. :)

challenging, November 18, 2011
it is exciting doing new and challenging stuff, however the fast pace makes it hard to follow along

Aim True Yoga, November 17, 2011
A great energetic, insightful practice. The pace is very quick, so I recommend watching each session before attempting the flow of the poses.

A different set of poses!, October 8, 2011
I love this video because it's not the standard practice where you do all the same poses that every other yoga video does. However, I wish she would slow down a bit. It's frustrating trying to do the practice, watch what she's doing, and move along with it at her extremely quick pace.
